This used Gibson J-45 Standard is a textbook example of why this model has been called The Workhorse for generations. With a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, you get that warm, dry, and focused tone thats made this round-shoulder dreadnought a favorite for singer-songwriters, Americana players, and gigging musicians. The short 24.75″ scale and slim taper neck make it incredibly comfortable to play, and the scalloped X-bracing keeps it responsive and lively across the dynamic range. This ones in excellent condition and has a few thoughtful upgradesa bone saddle for enhanced clarity and sustain, and a professionally installed K&K pickup for natural-sounding stage tone. There’s some light scratching near the pickup jack, but nothing that impacts performance or tone. Finished in Gibsons iconic Vintage Sunburst nitro, with nickel Grover Rotomatics and a tortoise teardrop pickguard, its as classic as it gets. Ships in its original Gibson hardshell case.
