This 1998 Martin Alternative II is one of the more unique builds to come out of Nazaretha hybrid design that blends traditional Martin craftsmanship with the raw power and projection of a resonator guitar. It features a metal resonator top suspended over a hollow HPL body, delivering the signature bark, bite, and metallic snap resonator players love, while still maintaining familiar Martin ergonomics. Whether you’re after bluesy growl or slide-friendly sustain, this guitar has a distinct voice that cuts and projects like nothing else in the lineup. Its outfitted with a Stratabond neck in a comfortable round profile, jumbo frets for easy playability, and a single cutaway for better access up the neck. A Fishman pickup system is installed, so its ready for the stage or the studio. Youll also find an ebony fingerboard, sealed tuners, and a standard Martin tailpiece and bridge made specifically for resonator construction.
