It features a hand-carved solid European spruce top paired with hand-carved solid flamed maple back, sides, and neckoffering a rich, punchy tone with clarity and projection. The radiused ebony fingerboard includes a scooped extension for cleaner picking near the bridge and is adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays for a clean, traditional look. The mandolin also includes an adjustable ebony bridge, 1 1/8 bone nut, Grover 18:1 tuners, and a solid cast tailpiece for tuning stability and tone transfer. A sunburst finish applied with a hybrid of varnish and lacquer highlights the triple-bound top and back, with matching binding on the neck and headstock. Finished with a claro walnut abbreviated pickguard and velvet-padded fiberglass case, the TW-F5 is stage-ready and built to last.
