Schertler Basik-Set

BASiK is SCHERTLERs general-purpose universal contact microphone. Designed for both live performance and recording, its precise, natural sound makes it suitable for use with virtually any stringed, percussive or ethnic instrument.

BASiK is easy to apply using the special adhesive putty provided. It can also be moved between instruments, offering a flexible, cost-effective solution for both performers and sound engineers.

BASiK is available in four different packages for maximum flexibility, enabling it to be used in any live performance or recording situation.

• The BASiK package only includes the pickup. To make it work, a SCHERTLER amp, preamp or 10V adapter is also required.
• The BASiK SET package includes the microphone and a power supply adapter box with a 1.5V AA battery. This enables BASiK to be directly connected to any amplifier. The package also includes a padded bag and special adhesive putty.
