FANTOM and ACB: Making the Impossible Possible

Rolands acclaimed Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) is the core technology behind AIRA products such as the TR-8S and SYSTEM-8, as well as the extensive Legendary series of software instruments on Roland Cloud. ACB brings an authentic analog sound experience to life in the digital realm, faithfully recreating analog circuitry and all their interactive behaviors at a deep component level.

Thanks to new engineering breakthroughs from our synth development team, the processor-intensive ACB architecture is now available to FANTOM owners with the JUPITER-8, SH-101, and JX-3P ACB Expansions in the FANTOM EX Upgrade. All the latest ACB advancements are integrated, including recently developed Circuit Mod and Condition functions for dialing in varying degrees of vintage character.

JUPITER-8 ACB Expansion

Released in 1981, the JUPITER-8 is one of the most revered and sought-after polysynths of all time. The JUPITER-8 ACB Expansion puts a complete circuit-level recreation of this vintage icon inside your FANTOM, along with a full graphical representation of the synth on the color display. SH-101 ACB Expansion
