Its fretless jatoba fingerboard sits atop a 5-piece maple/walnut neck, with a 34-inch scale length that makes for a smooth transition from an electric bass guitar. Its AeroSilk piezo pickup system allows you to switch seamlessly between playing with fingers and playing with a bow, delivering great tone either way.

AeroSilk Piezo pickup custom for Upright
Whether bowing or finger picking, this specially modified piezo system detects the vibrations of the strings that vibrates in different shapes, and then outputs the signals at equalized level.

Jatoba Fretboard
Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.
