Model Overview

Officially licensed by Fender and made to exacting quality standards in Japan using premium roasted Maple, this Allparts Select Replacement Jazz Bass Neck features all the hallmarks of the original with a few upgrades. Originally meant for jazz players, the comfort and tone of the Jazz Bass quickly became a favorite to players of all genres. Made from roasted maple, this neck offers better stability than its non-roasted counterpart by removing much of the wood’s moisture content, making it less susceptible to climate changes. This neck also features a compound 7.25-10 fretboard radius, allowing players to get their string height closer to the fretboard without buzzing or the notes fretting out. Finished in satin polyurethane for hours of frictionless play, this neck is ready to be installed and put through the paces!

Why Roasted?

Roasting the wood blanks prior to production enhances stability by reducing the moisture content down to around 7%. The result is a more-resonant neck thats stronger and less susceptible to changing weather conditions.

• Wood grain varies from neck to neck. Your neck may differ slightly from what is pictured.
• All necks have a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
• All necks may require fret leveling and polish. This is normal and not a defect.
• To protect against the effects of moisture, we recommend sealing unfinished necks prior to installation.
• Due do the lack of moisture in roasted maple, the risk for cracking is more apparent. When drilling holes for screws, we recommend measuring inside and outside of the threads first to determine the screw’s shank and the correct drill bit to use. Do not force screws into holes drilled with smaller drill bits.
