Goed zo(pronounced Hood Tso) is a Dutch word meaning well done or doing well. It is often used as a war-cry at sporting events to cheer along the athletes or in this case, the musicians, and is very energetic! This piece is thusfast and lively and is written in D minor. The opening section in 6/8 time uses a lot of spiccato and there is extensive position work. There is a change of mood and time signature in the middle section before the opening melody returns with an exciting finish!
