DAC – NX-2 Bass Trombone Cases

The DAC NX-2 bass trombone case is unique among professional cases in that it is totally customizable inside. With the exception of a wide cradle and a small block to support the slide handle, there are no permanantly affixed structures. All structuresblocks, pads and even the small accessory compartmentare positioned by you to best fit your horn. The slide is stored in the base behind the bell in a track, also in a totally customizable arrangement.

There is a cover for the open end of the slide to prevent weeping onto the bell. The case is of fiberglass construction and is one of the lightest we have ever seen at only 7.6 pounds (3.44 kg). It is sleek and compact, taking no more room than is needed to safely carry your horn. The case comes with two straps, arranged in backpack fashion, which are permanantly attached to four steel D-hoop cleats.
