This used McSpadden M12-W is a beautifully crafted hourglass-style dulcimer made entirely from walnut, offering warm, mellow tone and excellent sustain. It features a satin natural finish that highlights the woods rich grain, heart-shaped soundholes, and a walnut fretboard and neck for a consistent tonal character. With a 28 3/8″ VSL (vibrating string length), 4-string setup, and typically a 6 fret (and sometimes a 13 fret), its designed for both traditional and contemporary playing styles.
